League Rules

Qualifying Rounds:

8 Posted "League" Rounds are necessary to qualify for the End of year LeaderBoard. Your 8 Best rounds will be used out of the 15 possible rounds. If you post all 15 Rounds your 7 worst rounds will be dropped.

Bunkers:

(Most Bunkers on Course do not have adequate sand or just are not kept up in general. In order to make it fair for everyone please read below)

If there is Sand present you must play out of any Bunker your ball lands in.

However, you can create your preferred lie while

within that Bunker. 6" Bump/Fluff rule applys here.

(Eg: Use the rake or your foot to FLUFF up the sand and replace your ball within the Bunker no more than 6" from the original lie).

If Bunker has Water/Mud present you may Move your ball (More than 6") within the Bunker (Away from the Pin) to where no Water/Mud exists. If Bunker has any dry areas of Sand you must play your ball within the Bunker.

If no Sand exists and Bunker is just dried dirt, pull your Ball from Bunker and place on Grass thats not a Fairway, must be in the ROUGH. (Place Ball Away from Hole with the Bunker between you and the Hole). In this situation you must be chipping over the Bunker.

6" Bump Rule:

You may bump/fluff your ball 6" from where it lies.

However, if your ball comes to rest behind a fixed obstacle where no relief is granted you must remain behind that obstacle, a 1 (one) Stroke penalty must be taken if your ball needs to be moved from behind any Obstacle. You may not create a better line to the open Fairway or Green than your original Lie.

(Eg: If your ball comes to rest behind a Tree Trunk or Boulder you must remain behind that Trunk or Boulder after the 6" Bump is performed)

"Gimme" Putts (Within 24")

2 "Other" People in your group (Of the remaining 3 Golfers) must agree that the putt is within 24" and relatively flat, then it may be considered a "Gimme" Putt, unless the putt is on a severe slope.

(Eg: If Putt is on a severe Left to Right or Right to Left slope, the other golfers are within their judgement to make that golfer putt the ball even within 24").

Rounds used for Handicap Purposes:

Your best 9 Rounds out of the last 20 will be used to calculate your HandiCap. We will be using the: USGA/NCGA/WHS HandiCap System.
